3 nights from 24th December 2009

Our programme starts on Christmas Eve with a warm welcome and afternoon tea including a selection of home-made scones and shortbread. The evening kicks off with a Champagne reception followed by a superb, four-course dinner, specially prepared by our celebrated chef, Mark Easton, and his team.

On Christmas Day, a chilled glass of sherry will set the tone for a sumptuous lunch.  For those who feel the need to walk it off, there will be a treasure trail through the pass of Killiecrankie.  The clues may be challenging, but the rewards will be worth the effort! A casual Christmas supper will round off the day perfectly followed by a some specially devised games in the bar for those who want to take part.

£500 per person in a single or sharing a double room. to include everything outlined in the programme and more besides. Superior rooms are available at a small supplement.

On Boxing Day there will be a chance to try your hand at the ancient art of Archery.  There will be tuition for the novice, competition if there are any budding William Tells around, Fresh air and Mulled Wine will be available in abundance. Later, after a light lunch of soup & sandwiches, everyone is invited to join us for a walk to the Moulin Inn, Pitlochry, where a little refreshment will reward the athletic.

Pete Clark, widely acclaimed as the leading exponent of the music of Niel Gow (1727-1807), will be with us throughout the evening, and will be playing a selection of traditional Scottish music.  Pete’s appearance has become something of a tradition as Killiecrankie and this is an occasion not to be missed.

The package includes, DBB, Christmas Day lunch, various celebratory tipples, Boxing Day lunch and all entertainment.

A welcoming Afternoon Tea with a selection of light sandwiches, home-made scones and biscuits will be served. On New Year's Eve, the clues for a testing scavenger hunt through the Pass of Killiecrankie will be released in the afternoon - finding the answers will be a challenge but the rewards will be worthwhile. There will be a Champagne reception before our celebratory Hogmanay Dinner, after which everyone is welcome to take their own tipple and join in the local Ceilidh in the Village Hall. At midnight, we will welcome in the New Year with a splendid firework display and then adjourn back to the bar for a wee dram and some nibbles.

On New Year's Day we will be taking it easy starting with "Brunch" which will be served at a respectable hour. There is a Street Party in Pitlochry so, for those who are feeling fit we will walk there along the riverbank, for those who wish a more leisurely approach it is a short drive.

After a light lunch of soup and sandwiches, there will be an afternoon walk to Moulin that happens to boast a good pub with a roaring fire. We have some fabulous musical entertainment arranged for the evening.
