A casual Christmas supper will round off the day perfectly followed by a some specially devised games in the bar for those who want to take part.

On Boxing Day there will be a chance to try your hand at the ancient art of Archery.  There will be tuition for the novice, competition if there are any budding William Tells around, Fresh air and Mulled Wine will be available in abundance. Later, after a light lunch of soup & sandwiches, everyone is invited to join us for a walk to the Moulin Inn, Pitlochry, where a little refreshment will reward the athletic.

Pete Clark and Gregor Lowrey, widely acclaimed as the leading exponents of the music of Niel Gow (1727-1807), will be with us throughout the evening, and will be playing a selection of traditional Scottish music.  Pete and Gregor's appearance has become something of a tradition at Killiecrankie and this is an occasion not to be missed.

The morning of the 27th marks the end of our Christmas programme and we hope you will leave with the firm resolve to return soon to Killiecrankie.

On New Year's Day we will be taking it easy starting with "Brunch" which will be served at a respectable hour. There is a Street Party in Pitlochry so, for those who are feeling fit we will walk there along the riverbank, for those who wish a more leisurely approach it is a short drive.

On January 2nd there will be a chance to try your hand at the ancient art of Archery.  There will be tuition for the novice and competition if there are any budding William Tells around!  Fresh air and Mulled Wine will be available in abundance. After a light lunch of soup and sandwiches, there will be an afternoon walk to Moulin that happens to boast a good pub with a roaring fire, and a small libation to reward the walkers!

We have some fabulous musical entertainment arranged for the evening. Pete Clark and Gregor Lowrey, widely acclaimed as the leading exponents of the music of Niel Gow (1727-1807), will be getting those feet tapping, hands clapping and even bringing a tear to the eye with the more haunting melodies. Pete and Gregor’s appearance has become something of a tradition at Killiecrankie and this is an occasion not to be missed.

Our New Year Party - and indeed our 2012 season - finishes on January 3rd after breakfast.  We know everyone will have enjoyed themselves and look forward to welcoming one and all back at some point in the not too distant future.
